Joe Jankowski, ATC earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine with a minor in Exercise Science from Central Michigan University in 2006. While at Central Michigan, Joe completed season rotations with the women's soccer and men's basketball teams. He completed his internship at Northern Michigan Sports Medicine Center in Petoskey, in both a physical therapy setting and at Petoskey High School. Following graduation, he worked at Indian River Sports Medicine Center until he was hired by University of Michigan Medsport in August of 2006. Since then he has worked as an outreach athletic trainer for Medsport Livonia Physical Therapy clinic and Livonia Stevenson High School. He works extensively with athletes from every athletic team at Stevenson, and has traveled with numerous soccer and football teams in the playoffs and to the state finals. He has also provided high school students with educational experience into the profession of athletic training through internships and observation opportunities.

Joe has attended numerous continuing education courses, focusing mainly on the spine and the shoulder. He has learned many advanced tools for injury assessment and also for treatment through manual therapy and progressive therapeutic exercise. He has also attended courses on concussion management and gait analysis.


Laurie Roiser, ATC completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine from Central Michigan University in 2007. She worked as a student athletic trainer for the wrestling and women's basketball teams at Central Michigan University. After graduation, Laurie worked for Oakwood Healthcare System as an ATC in the high school setting. Currently, Laurie is working for Henry Ford Health System as an Outreach Athletic Trainer. Laurie has served as the Certified Athletic Trainer for Allen Park High School, Wayne Memorial High School, Henry Ford Community Collage Basketball and Baseball teams, Grosse Ile JV and Varsity Hockey teams, Salem Wrestling, Plymouth and Canton Lacrosse, and Reggie Mackenzie Sport Camps. Laurie has also taken continued education course work on Kinesio taping, lower body biomechanical evaluation and correction, and rehabilitation techniques.

Laurie is a proud member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association, Great Lakes Athletic Trainers' Association, and Michigan Athletic Trainers' Association.


Meaghan Rourke, ATC earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Athletic Training from Grand Valley State University in 2006. Meaghan has been employed full time at Henry Ford Health System since graduation where she splits her time between the clinical and high school setting. She was the athletic trainer at University of Detroit Jesuit High School and Academy for 3 years, and now currently serves as the athletic trainer at Ladywood High School. She has hosted athletic training interns from Central Michigan University and regularly has students interested in athletic training do observation hours with her in both settings.

Meaghan is a member of the Michigan Athletic Trainers' Society, National Athletic Trainers' Association, and Great Lakes Athletic Trainers' Association.


Carly George, ATC earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine from Eastern Michigan University in 2007. While a student at EMU, she worked primarily with the wrestling and volleyball teams traveling with both to the MAC Championship in 2006. In addition to her responsiblities with collegiate athletics, she also did a rotation with Livonia Churchill High School as a student trainer under their ATC at the time. Upon graduation from EMU, Carly took her first position with MedSport as an Outreach ATC assigned to Livonia Churchill High School. Aside from her daily duties with the high school teams, she is also working part-time at MedSport Physical Therapy rehabbing various orthopedic/sports related injuries. Carly has also taken an active role in having student athletic trainers observe her at the clinic and in the field.

Carly is certified by NATABOC and has current CPR certification. She has furthered her knowledge base by taking continuing education courses in gait analysis, manual therapy techniques of the upper and lower extremity, core advancement, and treatment of the athletic spine.


Carissa Tigges, ATC earned her Bachelors of Arts in Athletic Training from Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois in 2010. Carissa is currently working on her Masters of Science in Exercise Physiology at Eastern Michigan University. While a student at TIU, Carissa did rotations with the men's and women's basketball teams, women's soccer and women's volleyball. Carissa also worked as a Teacher's Assistant within the ATEP. She did her internship at Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, Illinois in boy's lacrosse. During the summer of 2010, Carissa was a part of the athletic training team providing coverage for The Hy-Vee Triathlon 5150 Elite Cup and the USA Track and Field Junior and Senior Outdoor Nationals in Des Moines, Iowa.

Carissa is certified by BOC and is a member of the National Athletic Trainer's Associate, Great Lakes Athletic Trainer's Association and Illinois Athletic Trainer's Association.


Hannah Brinza, ATC earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Athletic Training from Grand Valley State University in 2011. While a student at GVSU she spent her time working with collegiate and high school athletics in a number of sports including Volleyball, Rugby, Swim & Dive, Football, Lacrosse and Basketball. She performed her internship at Mercy Health Partners' Sports Medicine Department, at the Hackley Hospital location, in Muskegon. During her time in school and in her internship Hannah learned to provide and assess motion analysis using the program Dartfish. She has participated in an in-service on Functional Movement Screening (FMS) and the correction of deficiencies found in utilizing this screen in 2011.

Hannah is certified by the BOC and licensed by the state of Michigan along with being currently First Aid, CPR and AED certified by red cross. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainer's Association and the Great Lakes Athletic Trainer's Association.
